Christina's Angel Ornament

These pictures are the original pictures from the first website I had.  Because I gave some items as gifts or no longer have some items or for other reasons are not able to redo the pictures with my new website’s name.  Please excuse these pictures and the wrong website name; thank you!

Materials Used Scrap Red Heart Holiday yarn white and silver is what I used
Hook Size  H

Notes

Head and Body:

Leave a 4" tail and ch 3.  5 hdc in 3rd ch from hook.  Sl st into hole made from first st.

Ch 20, do 2 hdc in 3rd ch from hook. 3 hdc in next st and every st down the ch back to the center hole.  Sl st back into that hole made from very first st.  Fasten off leaving a 4" tail.  Pull tail through and meet with other tail.  Bring up and tie into a knot.  Trim excess.  I ended up with about a 3' hanger.

Wings:

Ch 20, hdc in 3rd ch from the hook.  Hdc in next st, dc in next 3 sts, then do tr in next 3 sts. Do a dtr in next st and then a tr in next st, sl st in next st. Now tr in the same sp as the sl st, dtr in next st, tr in next 3 sts, dc in the next 3 sts, then end with a hdc in the last st.  Fasten off and weave end ends.

Shape with fingers and sew to Angel according to picture.  As you sew, pull the center of the wings in tighter.  Once again shape with fingers.
