Doll Skirt

These pictures are the original pictures from the first website I had.  Because I gave some items as gifts or no longer have some items or for other reasons are not able to redo the pictures with my new website’s name.  Please excuse these pictures and the wrong website name; thank you!

Materials Used  scrap microspun 4ply
Hook Size  G
Measurements
Notes  13" doll (the doll I used is a Mattel 1992 blonde doll)

Round 1: Ch 35, sl st tog to form a ring.

Round 2: Ch 2, hdc in same st back loops only.  Hdc in each st around.  Sl st tog to the first hdc, not the ch 2.  This makes it tight and to not leave holes.  Do this throughout the entire skirt.

Rounds 3-5: Repeat Round 2. Except hdc in both loops now and throughout skirt.

Round 6: Ch 3, dc in same st. Dc in each st around. Sl st tog to the first dc.

Round 7: Repeat Round 6.

Round 8: Ch 3, dc in same st. Ch 2, 2 dc all in the same st as the ch 3.  *Skip 2 sts, 2dc-ch2-2dc in next st.  Repeat from * around.

Round 9: Sl st over to ch 2 space, do 2dc-ch2-2dc in that ch 2 space. *Skip to next ch 2 space and do 2dc-ch2-2dc in that ch 2 space. Repeat from * around.

Round 10: Repeat Round 9. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Now, measure 1/4" elastic around doll's waist, cut and sew ends tog to form a ring. Single crochet elastic to first hdc row front loops. Fasten off and weave in ends.
