16" long from neck to bottom.  12" arm length.  13" across the front under the arms.

Notes  

 

This sweater starts with 2 large solid granny squares.  Then you sew the shoulder seams and the side seams.  From there you add the bottom and the arms.

Solid Granny Square (Make 2):

Round 1: Ch 4, sl st tog.  Ch 3, 2dc, ch 2. *3dc, ch 2. Repeat from * 2 more times. Sl st tog.

Round 2: Sl st over a st, ch 3, dc in next st. Corner: 2dc, ch 2, 2dc. 2 dc on the side and make corner again. Follow pattern around. Sl st tog.

Round 3: Ch 3, dc in the sts on the side, make corner same as other round. Follow pattern around. Sl st tog.

Round 4-8: Repeat Round 3.

After you have both squares, lay them right sides tog and sc 2 1/2" of each shoulder seam.  Weave in all ends as you go. Note: do not tug on this yarn too hard.  It will pull apart.  Now sc 7" of each side seam.  Weave in ends. Turn squares right side out.

Bottom:

Round 1: Attach yarn to the bottom of the square with a sl st.  Now ch 3, dc in each st around the whole sweater. Sl st tog.

Round 2: Ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2dc in same st. *Skip 2 sts, 2dc, ch2, 2dc in next st. Repeat from * around. Sl st tog.

Round 3: Sl st over to ch 2 space from previous round, in that space 2dc, ch2, 2dc. *Skip to next ch 2 space and do 2dc, ch2, 2dc. Repeat from * around. Sl st tog.

Round 4-5: Repeat Round 3. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Sleeve:

Round 1: Attach yarn to armhole, ch 3. Dc in each st around. Sl st tog.

Round 2: Ch 3, dc in each st around. Sl st tog.

Round 3-17: Repeat Round 2.

Round 18: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Sl st tog and fasten off.  Weave in all ends.

Repeat this process to other armhole.
