Materials Used  1 ½ skeins of Red Heart Plush French Blue ½ a skein of Red Heart Plush in Cream color. 1/4" elastic for waistband
Hook Size  I
Measurements approximately a size 4. The reason I say approximately is that this came out a tad bigger than I wanted under the arms
Notes This set is made out of RH Plush yarn. This is my favorite skirt that I've designed yet. It's totally awesome and soft, too. The tank top was a pain to do. The fit under the arms is not to my liking. It looks okay because Shaelynn's arms are down. It's just a little big for her, which is good because it will fit longer. I'm working on a jacket for this outfit.

Cream Plush Tank Top

I worked this tank top from the bottom up. I did go back and add 2 rows at the bottom for flair and for the style I wanted. I have issues with decreasing so until my issues are resolved…I do things the way I know how which is by increasing.

Special Stitch: front cross-stitch. For extra help, go to this link:

Front and Back are made the same so make two of this:

Row 1: Ch 41, ch 3 and turn. Dc across, ch 3 and turn.

Row 2: *Skip next st, dc in next st, working around last st made, dc in skipped st. Repeat from * across. Ch 3 and turn.

Row 3 – 7: Repeat Row 2.

Row 8: Dc across in each st. Ch 3 and turn.

Row 9 – 16: Repeat Row 8.

Row 17: Repeat Row 2. Do not fasten off.

Straps -Row 18: Sc across until you are at the 4th crossed stitch from Row 17. Sl st into the 2nd stitch of the 4th crossed stitch, ch 2 and then dc in the next 5 sts. Ch 3, turn and dc in the next 5 sts. Ch 3, turn and dc in the next 5 sts. Ch 3, turn and dc in the next 5 sts. (4 rows of dc for each side for straps). Repeat on other side the same way.

Once you have both pieces done, place right sides together and sew shoulder seams. Then sc down the side seams. Fasten off and weave in all ends. Turn tank top right side out.

For the bottom edging: I attached yarn at one side. I did 3dc in between 2 dc of the first row all the way around, sl st tog, ch 3. *Sc in next st, ch 3. Repeat from * around to make a ruffled edging.

Blue Plush Skirt

This is my favorite skirt pattern so far. I adore this skirt. It’s soft, beautiful and it according to my daughter “It twirls.” I think any little girl would feel very special in this skirt as it’s very feminine.
This skirt is worked in rounds. I added elastic to the top at the very end.
Sizing: a size 4

Special Shell dc, tr, dc: dc, tr into the top of the middle dc of the previous row, dc.

Round 1: Ch 72, sl st tog to make a ring. Ch 3, dc in every stitch and sl st to top of ch 3.

Round 2: Ch 2, hdc around in every stitch, sl st tog.

Round 3: Ch 3, dc around in every stitch, sl st tog.

Round 4: Ch 2, hdc around in every stitch, sl st tog.

Round 5: Ch 3, dc around in every stitch, sl st tog.

Round 6: Ch 2, hdc around in every stitch, sl st tog.

Round 7: Ch 3, dc around in every stitch, sl st tog.

Round 8: Ch 2, hdc around in every stitch, sl st tog.

Round 9: Ch 3, dc around in every stitch, sl st tog.

Round 10: Ch 2, hdc around in every stitch, sl st tog.

Round 11: Ch 3, dc around in every stitch, sl st tog.

Round 12: Ch 2, hdc around in every stitch, sl st tog.

Round 13: Ch 3, dc around in every stitch, sl st tog.

Round 14: Ch 3, 2dc in same st, *skip 1 st, 3dc in next st. Repeat from *. End with skip 2 sts, sl st tog.

Round 15: Sl st 2 sps into space between 3dc, then ch 3, tr in the center stitch of the 3dc from row 14, dc in that space. *In the next space between 3dc, dc, tr in the center stitch of the 3dc from the previous row, dc. Repeat from * around, sl st tog.

Round 16: Sl st 2 sps into space between dc, tr, dc, do 3 dc in that space. *In the next space, do 3dc. Repeat from * around, sl st tog.

Round 17: Repeat Round 15.

Round 18: Repeat Round 16.

Round 19: Repeat Round 15.

Round 20: Sl st 2 sps into space between dc, tr, dc, do 3dc. *Skip 1 st, then do 3dc in the tr from Row 19. 3dc in the space between dc, tr, dc. Repeat from * around. Note: you are increasing in this row. That’s why you are doing 3d so close together. It allows the skirt to ruffle.

Round 21 – 24: Sl st 2 sps into space between 3dc, now do 3dc in that space. *In next space between 3dc, do 3dc. Repeat from * around, sl st tog.

Ruffled edging-Round 25: *Ch 3, sc in next st. Repeat from * around. Sl st tog, fasten off and weave in ends.

Measure elastic, cut and sew. Then sc it around the first row of the skirt. Fasten off and weave in ends.
